* Goals for the Week of May 12th *

I've been a little out of it lately. I've been plagued by migraines :( and on top of that had a lot extracurricular activities to attend. But here's a look at what I've been able to accomplish (migraines and all) and what I have/had planned for this week.

Last week's goals:
Personal
  • Drink at least 4 cups of water each day. ~fail~
  • Take vitamin daily. ~fail~
  • Work out 3 days this week.

An up close look at the artwork!

  • Attend Baby Boy's baseball games.
It's been freezing at these games! We're still wearing our winter gear (sweatshirts, scarves, gloves) and bringing blankets to the games! And the games have been going into 3-4 extra innings! I'm not fond of the cold, so I am so glad when we play our 6 innings and it's over!
  • Help Baby Girl complete her Science Project.
Yay! She won 2nd Place! I'm so proud of her!
  • Family Fun Activity! (We were supposed to go to the Air & Space Museum, but the children just wanted to stay home and relax for a change. I thought we all needed to rest, so that is exactly what we did.)
Ministry/Friendships/Extended Family/Volunteer
  • Send out 2 cards of encouragement.
  • Prepare Sunday School Lesson & Mother's Day Activity.
  • PTA: Teacher's Appreciation.

Bible Reading Plan - Week 3

Hi everyone! I feel like I have been gone forever! I've been under the weather for the last week/week and a half and have missed blogging as I regularly do. I've actually gotten out of the routine of things and tI'm rying to gradually get everything back together. So, I missed my reading last week and I'm not going to try to make it up; I'm just going to jump in where I left off. So this week my scripture reading will be:

Feb. 11- Exodus 28-34
Feb. 12- Exodus 35-40
Feb. 13- Leviticus 1-6
Feb. 14- Leviticus 7-13
Feb. 15- Leviticus 14-19
Feb. 16- Leviticus 20-26

Have a blessed week!

* Free e-Book! Coming Back Stronger by Drew Brees! *

Head over here to download an e-copy of Coming Back Stronger: Unleashing the Hidden Power of Adversity by Drew Brees for free! It is normally 15.99 but right now on Amazon you can download it for free! I have not read the book, but it has excellent reviews!

Here is a snippit from the inside cover:

"What doesn’t kill you makes you STRONGER.

After a potentially career-ending shoulder injury left quarterback Drew Brees without a team—and facing the daunting task of having to learn to throw a football all over again—coaches and commentators across the NFL wondered, Will he ever come back?
When Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005, leaving more than 80 percent of the city underwater and almost two-thirds of the population homeless and displaced, people the world over wondered, Will the city ever come back?

And with their stadium transformed into a makeshift refugee camp, forcing the Saints to play their entire 2005 season on the road, legions of sports fans wondered, Will the Saints ever come back?

Four years later, not only have Drew Brees, the Saints, and the city of New Orleans come back, they have returned stronger and better than ever before.

Set amid the backdrop of one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history, Coming Back Stronger is the ultimate comeback story, not only of one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks, but also of a city and a team that many had all but given up on.

Drew’s inspiring message of hope and resilience proves that with enough faith, determination, and heart, you can overcome any obstacle life throws your way and not only bounce back but come back stronger than you ever imagined possible."

If you are interested in downloading it head over here to download your copy today. It is available for Kindles. If you do not have a Kindle, you can download one of the Kindle Reading Apps located over here, so that you can read it on your smartphone, computer or tablet. Amazon prices can change at any time, so make sure that you check the price before you purchase it.

Enjoy!

** My 2013 Bible Reading Plan **

One of my goals this year is to read the entire Bible. I have tried on many occasions, but haven't completed this goal yet. I tried to do the "Bible in 90 Days" reading plan a couple of times, but that reading plan does not fit my lifestyle right now. This year I am going to try to read the entire Bible on the 6 month reading plan, but not follow the plan on Sundays. It will be 184 days of actual reading; but since I won't be reading on Sundays, it will take me a little longer than six months, but that is okay with me. If you would like to read along with me, I would love for you to! :) The complete reading plan can be found here; and here is the reading for this week:

Jan. 21- Genesis 1-6
Jan. 22- Genesis 7-12
Jan. 23- Genesis 13-19
Jan. 24- Genesis 20-25
Jan. 25- Genesis 26-32
Jan. 26- Genesis 33-38

If you would like to read along with me, just leave me a comment below to let me know you're in; and I will post the weekly reading each Sunday!

Have a blessed week!
