Last week I said I wanted to relax a little. I think I certainly did that, because I barely chopped away at my goals for the week. We did have fun and I did relax a little! Lol!

I am late posting this blog post because I have been feeling under the weather this week :( I just feel like making my one goal for the week - "Get through it alive!" But as a mom, there is always work to do; and if you don't do it today, it will just be waiting for you tomorrow, the next day or whenever you get to it. I usually make my goals for the week each Sunday, so here is what I had written. We'll see how much I will be able to get checked off!

This week's goals:

Personal
  • Drink at least 3 cups of water each day.
  • Take vitamin & medicine daily.
  • Make hair appointment.
  •
  • Reading List:

How did you do on your goals last week? All was well for me until the birthday celebrations began on Friday! Lol! Then taking my vitamin, drinking water and blogging went out of the window.

We had a fun week last week, which included a road trip to Washington, D.C. to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Her birthday request!

Time sure does fly! I can't believe this sweet girl is 11! She loves to travel, artwork and hanging out with her family. So no wonder she chose D.C. for her birthday! We had a chance to hang out with my brother and his family; just having fun time talking, eating, laughing and enjoying ourselves. I will post some more pictures on instagram, so make sure to follow me there as well! Just head over here and press "Follow." So here's what I have planned for this week!

* Goals for the Week of July 14th *

It's been such a loooong time since I have actually listed my goals, worked toward them and checked them off. I've used my planner for everyday tasks, but it just seems like I've been on 'A Thousand' doing everything, for everyone; but not actually working toward things that I actually want to accomplish for myself. There's no time like the present to change that, so this week I'm posting my goals and working to meet them!

Here's a little recap of some of the things that we did last week:

I had some movie passes that I received for my birthday, so we went to see Earth to Echo. It was a pretty good movie. It was kind of like a documentary that was made by a teenager. My kiddos really enjoyed it and we laughed throughout the movie.
My son attended Baseball Camp at our church and was coached by former MLB pitcher Wayne Gomes. That was exciting!

It seemed like it was a Film Festival for us last week; because in addition to seeing Earth to Echo, we also saw Maleficent (with some friends that have become family) and The Lego Movie! (Part of the Regal Summer Movie Express Program)

Then we indulged in some freebies on Friday with a free slurpee and free Chick-fil-A!

We had a full and fun week! So here's the plan for this week.

This week's goals:

Personal
  • Drink at least 3 cups of water each day.
  • Take vitamin daily.
  •
  • Reading List:

It's been freezing at these games! We're still wearing our winter gear (sweatshirts, scarves, gloves) and bringing blankets to the games! And the games have been going into 3-4 extra innings! I'm not fond of the cold, so I am so glad when we play our 6 innings and it's over!
  • Help Baby Girl complete her Science Project.
Yay! She won 2nd Place! I'm so proud of her!
  • Family Fun Activity! (We were supposed to go to the Air & Space Museum, but the children just wanted to stay home and relax for a change. I thought we all needed to rest, so that is exactly what we did.)
